Fort Smith Airport Commission is seeking Maintenance Worker

Responsibilities include maintenance of buildings and equipment, airfield pavements, airfield lighting systems, fencing, automatic gates, grounds and equipment, and snow/ice removal. Experience using large tractors and heavy equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of high voltage electrical systems is preferred. Heavy lifting. Starting at $13.50 per hour. 5 years experience required.
Day shifts with some nights, weekends and holidays required. Must pass Drug and Alcohol tests & Fingerprint Background Investigation. Valid Drivers License. Competitive benefits package available. EOE.

Saturday, August 18, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The Great Air Fair will be at the Fort Smith Regional Airport - across the street from the Airline Terminal. “The Great Air Fair” is a community-wide, family event featuring a variety of activities for children and adults. Event will include professional BMX stunt performances, live music, rock climbing wall, extreme bungee jumper, various carnival games and inflatables, local food vendors, and a raffle drawing to win airline tickets courtesy of American, Delta, and Northwest Airlines, hotel stays, weekend car rentals, and spa packages.
